Do you think countries would still have tried to conquer others if there was no economic (money) motivation? Why or why not?

Yes, because they still will want to be the biggest nation. By conquering other countries, not only population will increase but wealth will also increase and that country will be more popular than other countries.
I would say yes because the countries will have to show other countries that they're not weak and have strength.Additionally, countries may want to expand there country and make it bigger.For instance,if one lived in a small house and had a chance to exchange for a mansion for free,they would take it in a heartbeat.That's what imperialism is all about, having and taking a chance to let your country grow and putting fear into the eyes of other countries.
Yes Because there are people who can build money factories around town so that there can be lot's of money for everyone in the country.

Yes , I believe they would because , with or without any Economic motivation , they would still try and be the biggest nation and over rule any one else , they can still make money by sail products and opening up their own money making idea to travel and actually make money ,by conquering other countries not only do I think population increases yet also wealth in this case , This is what I believe No economic motivation would do , I don't believe it would effect us as much as others do .

Yes, I believe that country would still have try to conquer others if there was no economic (money) motivation. The reason why i say this is human didn't start making thing using money. They started with the basic thing they know bout before money became their subject. They knew how to make invented product without the knowing of money. Human have the mind the know one knew about, even they didn't knew how thing started but they figure it out anyway. I'm saying it didn't take economic motivation to start a war against each other, they use their bring n surrounding to overpower each other for better power and wealth.

So they would want to take over countries for pride? To be the biggest country in the world? I agree with you. Inevitably countries are going to grow economically when they expand to new parts of the world and set up trade and business. English is the accepted language around the world today because of the dominance of Great Britains empire.

Other countries might have still wanted to conquer others if there was no money was because they think if they could bring up the money situation problems then they could make quick money. Also I say because they could enslave people that are poor and then they could start trading them too other countries.
