This week we will be finishing up the Industrial Revolution. Today, we discussed certain scenarios that people went through during the industrial revolution: factory owners, assembly line workers, specialized workers and government officials. Most importantly the influence of Labor Unions. Labor Unions are groups of workers that join together to fight for the rights of workers. Labor Unions are responsible for the REFORM during the industrial revolution and making new laws to protect workers from the terrible factory conditions. We still have labor unions today that are very powerful!
Homework: Do you think we still need labor unions today? Explain.

yes , if we did not have labor unions . the people who run the show would take advantage . there would be nobody standing up for the people who dont want to .
yes, because we need the unions, because without them we all can struggle like we oce were.
Yes, because if there's no labor union, the workers rights would no longer be protected and they can be taken advantsge of by their bosses.

Yes because if we didn't then company owners would way more abusive.Labor unions are sort of like a "civilized rebellion" in my eyes.For instance, The civil Rights movement is a "civilized rebellion" because they fought for their rights in a civil and non-violent way.The labor unions in America do the same except more better.
Yes, we still need labor union because no like to be taken advantages of, they want what right for their selves. If we don't labor union manager will take advantage off worker like crazy even entertainment will be taken advantages off..
i think we do because without them would suffer and we wouldnt have any fereedom
I think we do need unions today because maybe everybody would just learn to get along. Im not saying race wise im saying to get along in a political manner. Also because when we work some people might want us to work in a area that has bad sanitation conditions but the unions would help us out.
yes , because if it wasnt for them them peoplr would be treated any kind of way and would not be getin the rights they need. i say if it wasnt for them half of the people would not b makein as much money
yes because every one should be ably to say what right for them self and make the amount of money they will need so yes labor unions will still be needed for today
