Hello Students,
This week on Thursday- January 12th and Friday January 13th, you will be taking your World History Mid-Term Exam. What is a Mid-Term? Half-way through the year you will be tested on all material that we have discussed and reviewed this year in class.
This means you have A LOT of material. This exam will count for 30% of your marking period grade. It is extremely important to study hard and long for this exam. I will be providing you today with a study guide that reviews all of the key words that will most likely appear on this test.
Also I have created a page on the side bar that has a lot of material from class and includes the study guide online. I encourage you all to share with each other the definitions and explanations for these terms, so if you would like to post work that you have completed you can comment here. Be cautious using others material, the only way to know for sure if it is correct is to do it your self.
This Week:
Wednesday:
TUTORING AND STUDY SESSION AFTER SCHOOL! Please stay and review any questions and material.
Thursday: HOLLYWOOD IN HISTORY MEETING
Toussaint L'Overture the MOVIE
Due to several students interested I think we make this bad boy happen. If you are interested in the creating of a short history movie about the life of this man, let's stay after school for an opening discussion on cast, scenes, and a script. Any and all are welcome, if numbers are too large then students who are achieving the highest grade will be selected for the club.
