They Obtained Us From Our Home In Africa . We Were Chained Together In Rows Stacked Up On A Boat . People Were Urinating On Each Other . There Was A Man Next To me , He Looked Like He Was On The Edge Of Death . They Had Tied Him Up And Whipped Him Until He Passed Out . Nights Later We Arrived In America . We Didnt Recognize Any Of It . The People Straight Away Took Us To Jail . After A Week Or So . We All Were Auctioned Off , Not Even For A Good Amount Of Money . They Traded Us For Guns, Gold Tobacco And Cotton .I Was Next On The Stand To Be Sold .
If i travled across jorney and made it to america i would atleast
try to let them know that i'm not here for any slavery.Or fight to survive and to stay out of harms

On the way being shipped to the New World as a slave,we were chained together in the ship for 2 months and the one's who kidnapped us were our own people,they trade us for guns and other items. Those who tried to escape and failed were whipped to death in front of us. We had took over the ship but were captured in the end.
This is letter to my people.Im ok I was traded for gold,guns and i had to pick cotton.It started by my own people the caught me tied me up and traded me to those devils.They pet me my wife and my friends on some ship most of them died from diseases and most of them were whipped to death.We took over the ship and tried to come back but ended up in America we were prisoned.Later we had a trial and lost then we were auctioned to the highest bidder.I escaped.

i am one of the slaves that have been freed from the atlantic slave trade. that was one of the badest times in history. we was took from our home by forced and in a disrespectful way. we have been took by our neighbors and close friends just so they can get guns, gold, tobacco, and cotton. when they put us on the ship, we was sent to the little room in the botton of the ship. we was humiliated and all of our rights was takein from us. we was all on a long chain and not fed how we was supposed to. we was put on the ships for two month as we seld the Triangular trade routes to europe, africa, and north america. we have seen our people get beat right in front of our face and have been killed for no reson. one day we have tryed to take over the ship but that didnt last for long. and that is the story of the Middle passage.

My name is MR.ALPHA I was apart of the atlantic slave trade. It was horrible living on the ship there people got sick the europeans didn't give certain people food.Some killed themselves so they wouldn't be slaves.We were chained up and stuff barley had room to move about. One nite in particular i'll never forget. Was when one of the men found something to unlock our chains.Afterward we went up the ship with weapons and started killing europeans we left two alive but i regret that now.We trusted them totake us back to take us back africa. We were sailing all over going back to what we thought was africa.We made a pitstop to get some water and this man was riding a two wheeler and we were scared. At the time we didn't know we was at the middle passage. So when go back to the ship and see another ship and we soon hear the europeans screaming for help. They came and took us all they put something on us to make us look shiny.Then they started selling us one by one.they had me doing work on guns.gold.and cotton.Then thy sold everything in a triangular trade routes. This is what I can recall hopefully I made history TO YOU AND THOSE LATER ON IN THE YEARS

Nice job with the posts guys. Some real intense letters about this dangerous an extremely sad time period. I am always so disturbed by the millions of people affected by this trade and all the families that are destroyed and torn apart forever.
Imagine one day never seeing members of your family or friends again. In this time period there was mo guarantee you could even make contact with them by sending a letter. Tough time period to study and discuss.

It started so strange that I didn't see it coming. My own kind started betraying us because they wanted gold, guns, tobacco, cotton. They did everything and capture us to be slave for the white people. Off many of us try to survived the hard time but many fail to contain there selves in shape. I watch the white throw my kind over board It was hard to beard the pain. As we pass through the middle passage the travel got harder. It was dark we started to take over the ship of course we did with a scarify but it was worth it. As we travel through middle passage which was called the triangular trade routes, going to back to Africa we encounter more white people. They capture us by killing few people with no mercy and took use to the Atlantic slave trade to trade us in for money. That when we became a slave.
well doing the journy from Africa to America was bad because of things that happen on the way like (1) killing slaves that was sick on the way (2)feeding them no kinda good food bad treatment dumping slave in water.theses are the things that happen doing the journy to America
Doing this trip from Africa to America started bad i didn't stand how we use to trade in our own people just for money and other things they needed if thing like this was still happening i will kill my self befor getting on that boat these are somethings that happen on the way (1) feed the slave no good food (2) drop slave that was sick in the water to keep the other away from sickness (3)sell slave for money gold and other i felt bad yesterday watching i almost cry to but these are some thing that really get to me yesterday and i also learn.
I am one of the people that survived. It's had been a long and scary way but i made it. Iv'e seen things i had never seen before and don't want to see again. People were beaten to death. Me & other's did't have much to each. We were starving! There were cold and scary night were i had to sleep butt naked! I seen people kill there self because they did not would want to put up with the horribile life that was coming towards them. But im so grateful that survive and i hop manys were survived too !

I'm on my way home.I miss you and I think I should explain a little bit.When I was taken from our home i became a slave in the Atlantic Slave Trade.We crossed Europe,Africa,and the Americas which is known as the the Triangular trade routes.Not only did they trade slaves they also traded guns,gold,tobbaco, and cotton.I got free in the middle passage which is the space between Africa and America.
